Good bye Sara
Tue, 11/18/2008 - 20:19 — jlwallenNov 25th. Mark it in your calendar as a sad, sad day. That is the day Sara Bard will be leaving the city of Louisville for the city of Seattle. It's a big move for Sara that will leave an empty spot in the heart of Hair Strobel. Sara has been with Hair Strobel for five years and has become more than just a hair stylist. Sara has become a friend, a role model, a bright spot on gloomy days, and an outstanding employee.
We will miss Sara as will her many clients. Although Sara will be gone, her spirit and a part of her heart will remain here at Hair Strobel.

Post Election Distress Disorder
Wed, 11/05/2008 - 14:26 — jlwallenThe 2008 election is now in the record books (in more ways than one), and if you're like me you're thinking "now what am I going to focus on?" We have all been watching this election for, what, twenty-four years? And now it's done. The votes have been cast and counted and we're either partying or pouting (or anything in between that starts with the letter "p").
But regardless of where you stand in the "P" continuum, you need something new to focus on. So why not focus on your hair or your nails? And to that end you can run the gamut of that obsession here at Hair Strobel.
We can color your hair (even blue or red if you like), highlight your hair, cut your hair, buzz your hair, paint your nails (but not your hair), fill in your gels, massage your feet, massage your scalp...you name it.

Help Jenni Ahlrich
On Monday, July 7th, Jenni Ahlrich was injured during a Derby City Roller Girl scrimmage. After being taken to the emergency room, Jenni found out that she had broken her leg, badly.
Since both of Jenni's jobs require her to be on her legs all day she has found herself in a bind. So the Derby City Roller Girls have put up a donation page in order for friends, family, and clients can donate in order to assist her recovery.
The funds that are collected will go towards her living expenses during the healing process. This healing process will take quite some time. We will keep you updated on her progress.
We all miss and love Jenni very much.
